Jacob Mutz, CPA
As president of LCP, Jake has successfully acquired, co-managed and sold numerous real estate and distressed-debt properties over the previous eight years and invested in real estate since 2004. An experienced entrepreneur and investor, Jake is primarily responsible for generating distressed-debt opportunities and other opportunistic real-estate-related investments through his relationships with various lenders. Every single transaction has been profitable for both investors and management of LCP.
Prior to founding LCP, Jake was in the life insurance business, where he specialized in high-end estate planning and successfully sold more than a quarter billion dollars of life insurance. Jake also is a licensed CPA in Delaware. He currently resides in Boulder, Colorado with his wife and their five children, including twin girls and two younger daughters and son. When all the kids are in bed, his wife occasionally updates her blog "What's Cooking." He is a co-founder of Village, an adoption and orphan-care ministry of Flatirons Community Church. Jake graduated with honors from the University of Florida, where he received both Masters of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting, with additional emphasis on Economics, in just 3 ½ years. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Credit Union of the Rockies. He enjoys the beauty of Colorado as an avid snowboarder and hiker and has climbed more than 20 fourteeners.

Vice President, Acquisitions & Asset Management
Gregg has spent over 12 years in the private equity industry advising institutions and sophisticated investors on the acquisition, operation, and monetization of real estate based investments. He has underwritten, led, and managed complex real estate based investments across multiple states and asset classes. Most recently, Gregg led the underwriting, management, and divestiture of LCP’s successful 975,000sf industrial park investment in Central Florida that produced a 2.2x project equity multiple in less than 2 years.
Gregg has participated in over $450MM of transactional volume on a variety of assets that include raw land development, industrial, multifamily, office, retail, hospitality, and agricultural. Broad and deep experience has been achieved by leading multiple teams of professionals across the entire life cycle of a deal. This includes deal sourcing, financial analysis, site planning, regulatory approval, construction supervision, contract negotiation, asset management, and disposition.
Prior to entering the private sector in 2006, Gregg served as a Captain in the US Army and was awarded the bronze star for his actions in combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom I. Outside of the office Gregg can be found exploring slot canyons and rivers in southern Utah, or climbing and mountain biking in the San Juan Mountains of Southwest Colorado. Gregg graduated with honors from Wheaton College in 2002 with B.A. in Business & Economics, and lives in Durango, CO with his wife and 2 children.

Director of Operations
Christina Schaefer brings over 18 years of project management and operational excellence to the Legacy Capital Partners team. Since her tenure, which began in May 2016, she has managed the completion of a wide variety of projects including ground up residential, industrial rehabilitation and large-scale commercial renovations & capital improvements.
Christina actively manages a real estate portfolio of over $25MM with responsibilities that include: property management oversight to ensure budgetary control and compliance, timely execution of capital improvement plans, as well the engagement, management and collaboration of general contractors, brokers, engineers and architects to ensure timely and strategic execution of improvements that maximize value. Christina's persistence and dedication to quality of work is reflected in every project she manages. She maintains a high standard of business through her integrity and insists on the highest of standards from each contributor on every project.
While not in the office you can typically find Christina on foodie adventures throughout Denver, on a bike ride with friends or up in the mountains. Christina graduated from California State University, Northridge with a B.S. in Business & Finance. She currently resides in Denver, CO with her furbaby, Bruno— a Bernese Mountain dog.

Bradley Wright, CPA
Finance & Accounting Manager
Prior to joining Legacy Capital Partners, Brad provided tax and consulting services as a CPA in public practice. His accounting experience combined with time spent in banking and construction is a valuable asset to the finances of Legacy Capital Partners.
Brad graduated with an accounting degree from Auburn University. He also holds a Masters of Accountancy and is a licensed CPA in Alabama and Florida. Brad resides in Dothan, AL with his wife of 12 years and their three young daughters. He enjoys golfing, hunting, and running in addition to spending time with his active family.
